Our Property team advises on the full range of real estate matters and acts on many of the Cayman Islands’ most significant developments, financings and transactions. We are seeking an experienced individual to lead and manage complex property matters with minimal partner supervision. The role involves close engagement with key clients and intermediaries, oversight of transactions from instruction through to completion, supervision of junior lawyers and support staff, and meaningful involvement in business development initiatives.

Candidates should have a minimum of seven years’ relevant PQE and be qualified in the Cayman Islands, the UK or a Commonwealth jurisdiction. Strong experience across commercial and residential property matters is essential, including commercial leasing, acting for landlords and tenants, advising lenders on real estate finance, and handling both routine and complex conveyancing. Excellent drafting skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage risk and supervise junior colleagues are key requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal ability and a confident, client focused approach. They will be highly organised, commercially aware and capable of working independently while recognising when to seek guidance.
