Truth For Youth School, a private Christian school which enrolls students from PRE- K to Grade Five, is seeking to hire a compassionate and experienced Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCO) for the 2026/27 school year.

The role of the SENCO is to lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of inclusive educational support services for students with special educational needs (SEN). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in creating an inclusive learning environment where every student is supported to reach their full potential.

The SENCO reports to the Principal and must work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, parents, external specialists, and relevant government agencies. This is to ensure that the SEN provision offered by Truth For Youth School, is effective and aligned with the standards and requirements of the Cayman Islands Ministry of Education.

Requirements :
A Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred;
A recognized Special Educational Needs qualification or certification;
A minimum of 5 years' experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting;
Strong knowledge of SEN policies, guidelines, and educational standards applicable in the Cayman Islands.

Benefits
Salary range CI$43,200.00 to CI$45,600.00 per annum
