Roofing Assistant.

Rose’s Guttering & Installation is seeking a reliable and hardworking Roofing Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to safety, efficiency, and delivering high-quality workmanship on every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist roofers with installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems
• Support installation of gutters, downspouts, flashing, fascia and related exterior components.
• Load, unload, and properly secure materials to prevent damage or safety hazards
• Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment
• Remove old roofing materials and clean work areas during and after projects
• Support measuring, cutting, and fitting of roofing materials as directed
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working at heights
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project flow
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients on-site
• Assist with urgent or high-priority roofing jobs when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in roofing is required
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
• Physically fit and capable of lifting up to fifty (50) pounds
• Ability to perform manual labour, including climbing, bending, and lifting
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours when needed

Working Hours & Benefits:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sunday - Friday
