SALARY: CI$75,000 - CI$100,000 pa
WORKING HOURS: 40 HOURS PER WEEK
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 2-year contract

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Agent who is passionate about contributing to successful projects, to join the Commercial team. This fast-paced role will effectively manage the procurement process, source high-quality materials, and liaise with contractors and suppliers to meet project deadlines.

DO YOU HAVE:
An industry related degree in quantity surveying, supply chain management or related field
5+ years’ experience in procurement/purchasing within a construction management/general contracting firm or similar environment
Strong aptitude in decision making and working with numbers
Ability to balance attention to detail with execution in a fast-paced environment
Comprehensive understanding of sourcing and procurement techniques with the ability to analyse complex information to support the department’s procedures and processes
Experience with global contractors and vendors
Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to negotiate
Demonstrated passion for procurement optimisation and supporting process efficiency initiatives
A high standard of accuracy and precision with a pro-active approach to problem-solving

WE WANT YOU TO:
Develop lists of suppliers for all assigned bid packages
Develop scopes of work for assigned bid packages
Utilise procurement software tools in the execution of your work
Assist in the proper and professional issuance of each assigned bid package
Handle questions from suppliers and processing RFIs
Process and issuing bid addendums
Draft the supplier analysis for each assigned bid package
Receive bid proposals and perform scope review evaluations
Lead scope review meetings with assigned project team
Make recommendations for the award of trade/material purchases
Communicate directly with local and global vendors to negotiate business terms and pricing
Draft contracts and purchase orders for assigned bid packages
Effectively track vendor contracts from inception to signature
