Position Overview: We are seeking a well experienced and highly responsible Pipe Fitter which will provide and contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our growing construction and interior fit-out projects.
Salary Range: KYD 12.00 – KYD 15.00/ per hour (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
Working Hours: Monday – Saturday (Morning Shift) 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing piping materials lists for Procurement based on project needs.
• Assembling various pipe sections and components using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or plastic solvent.
• Monitoring the quality of pipes and other materials and installation procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of pipe dimensions, materials and installation.
• Updating maintenance and installation records upon completion of tasks.

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements and ensure proper installation.
• Measuring, cutting, threading and bending pipes require shapes using hand and power tools.
• Securing pipes to walls and fixtures with brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
• Installing and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment including pumps and valves.
• Testing piping systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Inspecting and repairing pipes runs to related equipment such as radiators and HVAC units.
• Providing estimates on the cost of parts and labor.
• Making recommendations about necessary repairs or changes to plumbing systems.
• Complying with safety protocols and regulations during installation and maintenance.
• Collaborating with safety officers to implement workplace safety and hazard management initiatives.
• Collaborating with other trades such as plumbers, HVAC technicians and project managers to ensure cohesive work environments and operations.
• Meeting clients and/or customers to determine their plumbing needs.
