We are seeking a motivated and reliable Plumber Helper to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you will work directly under the supervision of a licensed journeyman or master plumber, assisting with residential and commercial plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade, with hands-on training and mentorship provided on every job site. Assist lead plumbers with assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe using specialized hand and power tools or machines. Prepare job sites by laying down protective coverings, clearing obstacles, and opening walls, ceilings, or floors to access plumbing lines. Gather, load, and unload tools, equipment, and materials at the workshop and job sites. Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks using water or air pressure gauges under the direction of the lead plumber. Clean up work areas, haul away debris, and maintain company vehicles and tools in a safe, orderly condition. Follow all safety rules, OSHA guidelines, and company policies at all times. Must be willing to work over time and weekend when necessary, climb ladders, work at heights, lift heavy loads and stand for long periods. Must be prompt and reliable.
