Pharmacy Technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Enter and maintain prescription data using QS1 Computer System.
• Handle in-bound calls and provide professional phone assistance to customers, medical practitioners and insurance providers.
• Retrieve prescriptions, assist customers and cash at counter.
• Update patient records and inventory, process invoices, and make accounting entries using computerized system.
• Effectively manage Pharmacy inventory by ordering from different vendors and stocking shelves.
• Maintain assigned work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
• The successful applicant must possess a Pharmacy Technician Diploma with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy retail pharmacy store.
• MUST meet the requirements to be licensed by the Cayman Islands Pharmacy Council.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, with prior knowledge in cash register, point of sales systems and pharmacy computer operation.
• A sound working knowledge of inventory control and retail merchandising is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmacy nomenclature including trade names of pharmaceuticals and Standard abbreviations used in pharmacy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Applicant must be willing to work on Shifts, on weekends and Public Holidays.
