Location: Petopia Pet Resort & Spa, George Town
Petopia Pet Resort & Spa is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our full-time team. We take pride in offering a premium grooming experience and expect our team members to provide exceptional, loving care to every pet.
Responsibilities:
Perform professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, blow drying, de-shedding, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
Style and execute breed-specific trims, clips, and scissoring to meet client requests and breed standards.
Assess each pet’s skin, coat, and overall health condition, reporting concerns to management.
Handle dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with patience, care, and safety.
Maintain a clean, sanitary grooming environment by disinfecting tools, tables, and bathing stations.
Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming preferences, services, and aftercare recommendations.
Manage grooming appointments efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist occasionally with other spa-related or kennel duties as needed.
Requirements:
Proven grooming experience with knowledge of breed-specific styles. *References required
Ability to safely handle and lift pets up to 50 lbs.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and a genuine love for animals.
