Tropics Pest Control, is a well-established pest control business operating since 1993. The company has built a strong reputation across the 3 Islands over the past three decades by delivering safe and effective commercial and residential pest control services . The company is widely recognized for delivering effective pest control services, achieved through the employment of highly trained and certified pest control technicians. Due to the steady growth of our client's operations, there is an urgent need to hire a Pest Control Service Technician with expertise in the safe and proper use of pesticides.
• Servicing the company’s domestic and commercial customers across the 3 Islands
• Required to travel inter-island monthly and at short notice for periods up to one week
• Demonstrate the understanding and experience in safe and effective handling of pesticides
• Due to the nature of the business, applicants must demonstrate keen attention to detail; excellent understanding of pest control products and safe application; deliver satisfactory results.
• Inspecting commercial and residential properties including health care facilities; effectively identify signs of pest control infestation, provide safe and effective treatment options
• Safely and effectively apply treatments based on international industry standards •
• Flexible and willing to work unsocial hours including public holidays and weekends when needed
• Provide complete and accurate accountability and record keeping on daily basis of customers serviced
• Strive for complete customer satisfaction and ability to problem solve effectively
• Embrace opportunities and cross-referrals of new business to the company where opportunity arises
• Maintain service vehicle when assigned to you in top condition by cleaning on regular basis; trustworthiness
Skills and credential requirements
• 3-4 years’ experience
• University degree in Agriculture Sciences or similar university credentials
• Certified in Safe Handling of Pesticides
• Proficient computer skills
• Punctual and dependable with excellent customer service skills
• Excellent Driving record with no prior convictions within past 5 years
Salary: KYD$24,000 - KYD$28,000 Per Annum (paid Monthly) + earned commission
