Sunset Divers is looking for PADI Dive Instructors to join our team. Ideal candidate should be flexible, eager to learn, team player mindset, enthusiastic, and willing to grow with our family at Sunset Divers as a responsible and proactive person who takes pride in their work. Our utmost priority is safety, followed closely by exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Must be a PADI Professional with current active teaching status and good standing. SSI agency is beneficial as well.
- Current EFR instructor status
- Clean criminal record
- Clean driving license
- Skills: Excellent communication abilities, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for marine conservation and diving.
- Experience: Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
- Availability: Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Captains License and experience are beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Welcome guests and assist them with dive gear, bookings, and inquiries, ensuring they feel valued and informed throughout their visit.
- Operational Support: Help manage daily operations, including equipment rentals, dive trip registrations, and customer check-ins.
- Sales and Promotions: Actively promote diving services, retail products, and special offers to enhance sales and customer satisfaction, promoting monthly dive specials and courses.
- Guidance and Instruction: Provide essential pre-dive briefings and safety information to customers, particularly beginners, fostering a culture of safety and enjoyment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the cleaning, maintenance, and storage of diving equipment, ensuring all gear meets safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dive instructors and other team members to coordinate schedules and ensure a seamless experience for divers and dive instructors.
