The Agency Group Ltd. seeks a Night Hatchery Assistant for a temporary role supporting off-season hatchery preparation and nesting-season night hatchery and beach operations. The ideal candidate is responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work nights with minimal supervision.
• Off-season: maintain nest boxes; replace sand; test and set up temperature and moisture probes; configure infrastructure.
• Nesting season: collect and package turtle eggs; disinfect hatchery materials; conduct nightly beach patrols; perform general hatchery duties.
Requirements:
• Minimum one year’s experience with green turtle eggs and hatchlings.
• Work independently and follow protocols closely.
• Work long outdoor night shifts, including in rain.
• Lift and carry up to 30lbs and walk on sandy, uneven terrain for up to six hours.
Employment terms:
• 12-month contract: October 2026–September 2027.
• 48–72 hours weekly: 4–6 nights, 12-hour shifts.
• CI$10 hourly plus statutory benefits.
• Legally eligible to work and willing to complete basic training.
