Mechanical Engineering Technologist.

Candidate shall possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Certification in HVAC (Part 1) with HAP/Excel/AutoCAD/Manual Calculations and have a minimum of 7 years’ work experience providing HVAC services for medium-to-large Commercial and Institutional construction projects. Duties include estimating and CADD design using ASHRAE and SMACNA standards and local building codes, preparation of cooling and ventilation load calculations, equipment sizing, specifications and operations. Conducting comprehensive HVAC mechanical take-offs using Bluebeam to ensure accuracy in material and labour cost projections. Actively participated in the competitive bidding process, analyzing project specifications and drawing to develop strategic pricing that secured contracts. Candidates shall assist project management and commissioning in the field of HVACR. Orchestrated the seamless delivery of turnover documentation, including A&M manuals, as-built drawings, and warranty information, ensuring final project acceptance and client satisfaction. Shall possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Certification in HVAC (Part 1) with HAP/Excel/AutoCAD/Manual Calculations and Cayman Islands Drivers Licence.
Knowledgeable Building Codes applicable to the Cayman Islands and a thorough knowledge of ASHRAE Fundamentals and SMACNA standards, Design Builder and Microsoft Office.
