The successful candidate will perform skilled masonry and carpentry work on residential and commercial building construction projects, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently, accurately, and to high quality standards. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesLay concrete blocks, stones, and structural building materials to erect walls, foundations, and partitions. Prepare, pour, level, and finish concrete surfaces, footings, slabs, and columns.Read and interpret architectural drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine layout dimensions and materials required.Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, drywall, plywood, and other construction materials.Construct and erect wooden frameworks, forms for concrete, wall framing, roofs, partitions, doors, and window frames.Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and maintain them in good working condition.Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work site in compliance with construction safety standards.Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum of 5 to 6 years of verifiable, hands-on experience in masonry and carpentry within the building construction trade.Technical or vocational certification in masonry, carpentry, or building trades is preferred. Strong knowledge of block work, plastering, formwork, structural framing, and general finish work.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a construction crew.Must be physically fit, reliable, punctual, and capable of working in varying outdoor weather conditions. Clean police clearance certificate and passing medical examination required.
