Mason/ Carpenter/ Steel Finisher.

Horizon Construction is looking to hire a skilled Mason/ Carpenter/ Steel Finisher with knowledge of various carpentry and metal framing techniques. You will be responsible for laying out, installing, repairing, finishing, and maintaining different structures and fixtures in multiple buildings. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to a client's requirements.
Mason’s Responsibilities
• Maintaining tools and workspaces.
• Cutting, shaping, and dressing materials.
• Lifting, carrying, and placing prepared blocks.
• Reading and following technical drawings.
• Training apprentices.
• Restoring old and worn masonry.
• Reading and interpreting architectural blueprints and engineering plans.

• Determining material requirements and construction techniques based on design specifications.
• Constructing frames, supports, columns, concrete reinforcements, and other structures.
• Transporting elements to the construction site and demarcating, offloading, and working areas.
Carpenter
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
• Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
• Installation of Metal Frames for drywall installation
• Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
• Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
• Compliance with local building codes and health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.

Steel Finisher Responsibilities:
• Reading and interpreting architectural blueprints and engineering plans.
• Determining material requirements and construction techniques based on design specifications.
• Constructing steel frames, supports, columns, concrete reinforcements, and other steel structures.
• Transporting steel elements to the construction site and demarcating offloading and working areas.
