Summary
The Group Marketing & Public Relations Manager is responsible for developing and executing the integrated marketing, branding, and communications strategy across Hurley’s, Clean Gas, and C3. This role drives revenue growth, brand positioning, customer acquisition, retention, and cross-promotional initiatives across all group companies. The position oversees campaign strategy, public relations, sponsorships, internal communications, and sales enablement programs while ensuring consistent brand standards and messaging across the organization. The Group Marketing & PR Manager works cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, Programming, Production, and Executive Leadership to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and profitability targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute a unified Group Marketing Strategy across Hurley’s, Clean Gas, and C3.
• Establish annual marketing plans, budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned with revenue and growth objectives.
• Identify and implement cross-brand synergies and bundled promotional opportunities to increase customer lifetime value.
• Lead brand positioning strategy for each business while maintaining cohesive group identity.
Campaign & Revenue Growth Execution
• Oversee and execute multi-channel campaigns (digital, in-store, broadcast, social, print, partnerships).
• Support new product/service launches across all divisions.
• Develop acquisition, retention, loyalty, and referral programs.
• Partner with Sales teams to implement Inside and Outside Sales Representative programs and incentive initiatives.
• Drive measurable lead generation, conversion, and churn reduction strategies.
Public Relations & Corporate Communications
• Develop and manage group-wide PR strategy.
• Prepare and oversee press releases, media kits, case studies, crisis communications, and executive messaging.
• Act as liaison with media, partners, and community organizations.
• Ensure consistent messaging across public communications, digital platforms, and internal announcements.
• Support executive leadership with public speaking materials and presentation development.

Events, Sponsorships & Community Engagement
• Manage, coordinate, and evaluate customer events including:
o Tradeshows
o Sponsorships
o Community initiatives
o Industry events
• Track and measure sponsorship ROI and ticket distribution to sales teams.
• Ensure all events align with brand positioning and measurable business outcomes.
Competitive Intelligence & Market Insights
• Direct the collection and analysis of competitor information across all industries relevant to the Group.
• Provide regular competitive intelligence reports on pricing, messaging, positioning, and promotional strategies.
• Identify emerging trends and recommend proactive strategies.
Reporting & Financial Accountability
• Manage the Group marketing budget.
• Compile and present campaign performance reports to Executive Management.
• Report on:
o Budgeted vs. actual spend
o ROI and revenue impact
o Lead conversion metrics
o Customer acquisition cost
o Retention performance
• Recommend strategic adjustments based on performance analytics.
Brand Governance & Standards
• Maintain brand standards and messaging consistency across Hurley’s, Clean Gas, and C3.
• Oversee development of marketing collateral and creative assets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements where applicable.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in marketing leadership, brand management, or PR.
• Proven experience driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention through strategic marketing initiatives.
• Experience managing multi-brand or multi-division marketing operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail, utilities/energy, and telecommunications marketing environments (preferred).
• Demonstrated success managing marketing budgets and measuring ROI.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to present professionally to executive leadership, partners, and large customer groups.
• Skilled in telling the Group’s story across multiple industries and audiences.
• Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into strategy.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5–7 years total relevant work experience.
• Management experience preferred.

• Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of customer and business data.
• Accountable for responsible budget management and financial oversight of marketing expenditures.
