Masters Legal Costs Services is seeking a qualified and experienced Legal Assistant with an accountancy or commerce background and an Honours degree to assist with a wide range of legal costs services within the litigation field.

The successful candidate will support the preparation of costs budgets, Bills of Costs, Objections, and matters relating to the Grand Court taxation process. Applicants must be highly numerate, detail-oriented, and have substantial practical experience in legal costs.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with Honours, in Accountancy, Commerce, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in legal costs
Qualified Costs Lawyer or engaged on the Costs Lawyers’ educational qualification programme
Practical experience preparing Bills of Costs and Objections
Experience handling the Grand Court taxation process
Experience with taxations in the Financial Services Division is preferred
Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Police Clearance required before a job offer is extended
