SALARY: CI$45,000 - CI$65,000 pa
WORKING HOURS: 40 HOURS PER WEEK
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 2-year contract

Recreation Services Limited is seeking a Lead Landscaper to help develop and maintain world-class nature trails while protecting environmentally significant landscapes. This hands-on leadership role combines trail construction, landscaping, crew supervision, and equipment management in a unique outdoor environment.

DO YOU HAVE:

At least 5 years of landscaping, trail construction, or related outdoor work experience
Experience training, supervising, and motivating small teams to achieve project goals safely and efficiently
The ability to read plans, coordinate logistics, and complete projects to established specifications and standards
Strong problem-solving skills, including experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment
Experience purchasing materials, tools, and supplies to support construction and maintenance activities
The physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 75 lbs. and work in challenging outdoor environments
A commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and delivering high-quality results in all weather conditions

WE WANT YOU TO:

Lead and supervise small crews of trail builders and landscapers in the construction of new trails and related infrastructure
Coordinate with the Project Supervisor and Landscape Managers to plan work schedules, establish objectives, and execute projects successfully
Ensure all trail construction and maintenance activities are completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
Organize logistics, procure materials and equipment, and maintain adequate supplies for ongoing operations
Train, motivate, and support team members from diverse backgrounds while fostering a positive and productive work environment
Manage, inspect, maintain, and coordinate repairs of tools, machinery, and equipment used in daily operations
Support the ongoing preservation and maintenance of environmentally sensitive trail systems while promoting minimal-impact construction practices
