Kitchen Helper.

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Kitchen Helper to support the daily operations of our mobile restaurant. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, cleaning, inventory organization, and maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring efficient food service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
* Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, food preparation areas, and service areas.
* Wash dishes, pots, pans, and cooking equipment as needed.
* Assist with stocking and organizing food supplies, beverages, and packaging materials.
* Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are running low.
* Assist with setting up and breaking down the mobile restaurant before and after service.
* Remove trash and maintain clean waste disposal areas.
* Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and food handling.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Requirements

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* 2 years experience preferred.

* Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, food truck, or food service environment is an asset.
* Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
* Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Compensation and Benefits

* Salary: KYD $8.00 per hour.
Health Insurance and Pension Plan are provided in accordance with the Cayman Islands Labour Law.
