Kitchen Helper.

Moon Light Cayman Ltd. T/A The Chill Spot is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and experienced Kitchen Helper to join our team in Savannah, Bodden Town. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with food preparation including washing, peeling, cutting, portioning, and plating ingredients and meals.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing kitchen equipment, cleaning floors, and organizing workstations.
Dispose of trash and ensure all kitchen areas remain clean and hygienic at all times.
Receive, inspect, and properly store food supplies and deliveries.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damaged items.
Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy operating hours.
Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role within a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen sanitation practices.
Experience with inventory handling and proper food storage procedures.
Ability to safely operate and handle kitchen equipment and utensils.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness.
