This is NOT a dishwasher position, and it is NOT an entry level position (minimum of 4 years’ Kitchen Helper and/or Kitchen Support experience is required)
Applicants “maybe” required to undergo a full medical in order to be medically declared physically and mentally fit
Requirements:
Applicants MUST meet all requirements:
Assist Chefs with food preparation of menu items
Portioning food using a scale
Cut and clean meats, seafood, and veggies
Help with the preparation of staff meals
Monitor delivery and storage of kitchen inventory items
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50lbs) and stand for extended periods (7-9 hours per day)
General cleaning of public areas (restrooms included) and chefs' workstations
Comprehend the use and diversity of cleaning agents
Must maintain high levels of cleanliness
Liaison with severs and bartenders
Flexibility to work am/pm shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Benefits include:
Weekly pay based on a 45 hour work week
Pay rate ranges from CI $8.00 to CI $9.50 (based on experience)
