Kitchen Helper.

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to assist with the daily operations of the kitchen. The successful candidate will support cooks and kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness, preparing basic ingredients, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and in accordance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items and ensure proper storage
• Assist cooks with simple tasks during food preparation and service
• Receive, unpack, and properly store food supplies and kitchen inventory
• Ensure garbage is removed regularly and disposal areas are kept clean
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas at all times
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties as required
• Report to work on time with a positive attitude and readiness to support the team

Requirements:
• Previous kitchen or food service experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate items
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
