Kitchen Helper/Cashier.

Duties and responsibilities
• Provide warm, friendly, and efficient customer service by greeting guests, answering menu‑related questions, and accurately taking dine‑in or take‑out orders, including any special requests.
• Operate the POS system efficiently, process all forms of payments, issue receipts, and maintain accuracy in cash handling, including balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift. Must work in split shifts and must work in public holidays/weekends.
• Keep the front counter, cashier station, dining area, and customer‑facing spaces clean, organized, and presentable at all times to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Assist cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, chopping, portioning ingredients, and seasoning items, while helping set up and maintain clean workstations throughout the shift.
• Package meals for take‑out and delivery with attention to accuracy, proper labeling, and presentation, and ensure all condiments and supplies remain fully stocked.
• Monitor food freshness, portion consistency, and quality in line with restaurant standards while supporting kitchen staff in maintaining proper food‑safety and hygiene practices required by Cayman Islands regulations.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware, sanitize surfaces and equipment, dispose of garbage properly, and help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment. Clean Bathroom during shift hours.
• Participate in end‑of‑day duties including deep cleaning, restocking, organizing supplies, and completing designated closing procedures.
• Work collaboratively with chefs, servers, and management to support smooth restaurant operations while following all grooming, attendance, timekeeping, and workplace policies.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries, rotate stock using FIFO methods, report low inventory or equipment issues promptly, and perform any additional duties assigned by management.
