Cashier.

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to handle transactions efficiently and provide excellent service to our customers. The successful candidate will ensure accurate payment processing, maintain a clean and organized work area, and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change as required
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance at the beginning and end of each shift
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic concerns in a courteous manner
• Assist with packing items, bagging orders, or preparing take-out where required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and front counter
• Monitor stock levels near the counter area and inform management of shortages
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and security guidelines
• Report to shifts on time and maintain a positive and professional attitude

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
