The Kitchen Helper will assist with basic daily kitchen duties and support the kitchen staff as needed.
Duties include:
• Washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and other ingredients.
• Assisting with basic food preparation as instructed by the cook.
• Washing dishes, utensils, cutting boards and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping kitchen counters, preparation areas and floors clean and organized.
• Putting clean utensils and equipment back in their proper places.
• Taking out garbage and keeping waste areas clean.
• Receiving and putting away kitchen supplies when required.
• Following food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Assisting kitchen staff with other basic kitchen duties as needed.
