The Junior AC Duct Installer is responsible for assisting with the installation of air conditioning ductwork and accessories at various residential, commercial and industrial construction sites around the Cayman Islands. This includes assisting with Kingspan Palduct, steel, galvanized, rigid and flex duct.
Requirements/Qualifications:
1-2 years experience assisting with installation of any type of HVAC ductwork to include galvanized steel, ductboard and Kingspan rigid duct systems preferred
Min 6 months to 1 year experience in general construction environment
Ability to read construction sketches preferred
Ability to work overtime, public holidays and weekends as needed
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
Working as part of a dedicated and experienced team
Must be able to take direction from other experienced fabricators within warehouse shop and on construction sites regarding proper ducting techniques and must be able to correctly replicate those techniques in various settings
