Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The successful candidate will ensure HVAC equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while providing excellent service to customers and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems and
equipment.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related faults.
- Perform preventive maintenance on air conditioning, ventilation, heating, and
refrigeration systems.
- Check refrigerant levels, pressures, electrical connections, controls, and
system performance.
- Repair or replace defective components, including compressors, motors,
capacitors, thermostats, contactors, fans, belts, filters, and controls.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and
technical specifications.
- Conduct system testing and commissioning following installation or repair.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, parts used,
and service calls.
- Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies when required.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and
environmental regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a clean and safe
condition.
- Communicate professionally with customers and explain identified problems,
recommended repairs, and maintenance requirements.
- Prepare basic service reports, estimates, and recommendations as required.
- Work effectively with other technicians, contractors, supervisors, and building
personnel.

Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in HVAC/R
is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, electrical
controls, and mechanical components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment efficiently.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Valid driver's license, where required.
- Relevant HVAC/refrigeration certifications or licenses are an advantage.
- Knowledge of safe refrigerant handling and applicable environmental
requirements.
- Good communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to lift equipment, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and
work in varying environmental conditions.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with modern inverter, VRF/VRV, split, package, and ducted
systems.
- Basic electrical testing and troubleshooting skills.
- Preventive maintenance experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to manage multiple service calls and prioritize urgent repairs.

Working Conditions

The HVAC Technician may work indoors and outdoors, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, construction sites, commercial buildings, and residential properties. The position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, and in hot or cold environments. Occasional overtime, weekends, or emergency call-outs may be required.
