Human Resources Coordinator

As the first impression when entering the Human Resources Department of The Ritz-Carlton, a strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. This is a highly visible and customer-centric position. The Human Resources Coordinator's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruitment, immigration, benefits, employee relations, supporting Community Footprints, and ensuring policies are adhered to daily. This role assists the team with various aspects of the employee experience, including internal communication, events, and committee involvement.

Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures. Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines. Answer phone calls and record messages. Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property. Maintain the confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information. Create and maintain filing systems. Prepare office correspondence using a computer. Distribute and route mail. Order and track Human Resources office supplies and forms. Create new employee personnel files. Maintain the designated application area and ensure it is clean, well maintained, and accessible to individuals with disabilities. Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files.

The ideal candidate will possess:
• Minimum of one year of Human Resources experience in an organization with more than 200 associates
• Strong interpersonal and customer-focused skills
• Secondary school diploma and/or an associate degree in human sciences
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Luxury hospitality experience preferred
• Previous customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a multicultural environment
