LIV, Cayman Islands is seeking a Housekeeper/ Maintenance Person that will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep, cleanliness, and functionality of residential and commercial properties. This includes general maintenance, repairs, organizing, cleaning, gardening and taking initiative to maintain high standards of property management.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Duties:
• Perform general property maintenance.
• Conduct routine checks of properties, appliances, and structures to identify maintenance needs, reporting any repairs or replacements needed.
• Maintain and repair outdoor areas, including gardening, lawn care, and irrigation system upkeep.
• Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and outdoor spaces.
• Handle basic carpentry tasks such as fixing furniture and installing fixtures.
• Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal and recycling procedures are followed.
• Report any safety hazards or major repair needs to management.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies needed for maintenance work.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and handle after-hours emergencies as required.

Housekeeping Duties:
• Clean and sanitize residential and commercial spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and common spaces.
• Disinfect surfaces, fixture and furniture as required.
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and washing windows and floors.
• Change and clean linens and towels, organize and restock household supplies.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks when required, ensuring all spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Restock supplies, such as toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other essentials.
• Maintain inventory list for supplies needed for the properties.
• Ensure properties are prepared for new tenants, including staging, inspecting, and detailing.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
• Report any major maintenance issues or damages to the manager.
• Ensure all cleaning and maintenance tasks meet high-quality standards.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• At least 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping and one year in maintenance/construction or in a similar role.
• Expertise in basic repairs and general property maintenance.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and maintenance tools safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong physical stamina and capability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and handle manual labor tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, after-hours and holidays, as needed.
• Fluent in English, with good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Job Location: Multiple locations, varying between properties located in different areas across the island.
Full-time role with minimum 160 hours per month
Additional Benefits: Company vehicle and phone provided for the duration of employment.

Working conditions: The position involves working both indoors and outdoors across multiple properties located in different areas of the island. Duties may require prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and occasional lifting, carrying and moving of household items, supplies and equipment. The employee may also be required to work in warm, humid and varying outdoor weather conditions and travel between properties as required.
