Housekeeper/Domestic Helper.

This individual will play a vital role in the day-to-day upkeep and schedules of a busy family and the household. They will be responsible for maintaining the house, carrying out daily chores, and providing healthy and balanced meals (they will need to follow strict meal plans/dietary requirements). They will also carry out additional errands as required.

Requirements & Attributes:
The incumbent must have the following skills and experience:
• Applicant must be fluent in English (verbally and in writing
• Minimum of a High-School and Housekeeping training and a minimum of 4-6 years experience working in a residential home.
• Must be able to prepare healthy and balanced meals, and follow strict dietary plans.
• Must be a well-groomed individual who can present themselves well.
• Must be a clean and professional individual
• Must be organized and flexible with working hours (as times may change, based on schedules)
• Must display a high level if discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction clearly
• Must be efficient and have exceptional time-management skills
• Be organized and able to work in a structured and very busy household
• Ability to take initiative and problem-solve
• Must be reliable, proactive & punctual, and committed
• Assist with doing errands; Grocery shopping and personal errands
• Cleaning maintaining the home including Ironing

Training
Applicant will be provided with some hands-on training to ensure they meet and carry out the tasks/ chores required. Dietary requirements will be provided as a guide for meal planning purposes.

Hours
Operating hours are generally 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday (and some Saturdays required), however hours of services will not consist of more than a 45-hour work week and the daily shift will not exceed 8hours a day. At times, the work schedule may vary depending on the needs of the Family and their schedules.

Applicant may be required to work beyond the scheduled hours and at short notice. In the event that overtime is requires, the employee will be paid at hourly rate.
