Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Nuverna (Cayman) Ltd. is seeking an experienced and accomplished Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead an international, regulated financial services group, setting strategic direction and overseeing overall business performance, governance and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth, leading acquisitions and business integration, and managing complex operations within a private equity-backed or institutionally owned environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the Group’s strategy, driving organic growth, geographic expansion, new business opportunities and mergers and acquisitions.
• Lead the executive team and oversee overall financial and operational performance against business plans and strategic objectives.
• Direct the integration of acquired businesses into a unified Group structure, operating model and culture.
• Maintain strong corporate governance, risk management, internal controls and regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions.
• Build and lead high-performing executive teams, promoting accountability, ethical conduct and a strong client-focused culture.
• Manage relationships with the Board, private equity shareholders, regulators and key clients, ensuring effective communication and oversight.
• Oversee the Group’s financial performance, capital allocation and long-term growth strategy, including preparation for future investment, refinancing or exit opportunities.
• Represent the Group with clients, regulators, industry bodies and strategic partners, protecting its reputation and market position.
Requirements and Qualifications
• A minimum of 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a senior executive within a large, international, regulated financial services business.
• Previous experience as a Global CEO of a large, international, regulated financial services business.
• Proven track record of developing and executing business strategy, delivering revenue growth and leading acquisitions.
• Demonstrated experience integrating acquired businesses and managing complex, multi-jurisdictional operations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, risk and compliance requirements across the US and European markets, including direct engagement with regulators.
• Experience working within a private equity-backed or institutionally owned business with experience managing a sale or IPO.
• Strong strategic, commercial and financial acumen, including responsibility for complex profit and loss performance.
• Proven ability to lead senior executive teams across multiple jurisdictions and cultures.
• Ability to satisfy applicable regulatory fit-and-proper requirements.
• Experience in fund administration, asset servicing or wealth management desirable.
• Willingness to be based in the Cayman Islands and undertake frequent international travel.
• Degree qualified in business, finance, law or a related discipline.
