Responsibilities:
Framing walls, floors, and roofs.
Constructing wooden supports for concrete (shuttering).
Installing stairs, and partition walls.
Preparing and setting up the work site.
Focus: The final, visible details of a project, emphasizing a neat and aesthetic appearance.
Installing doors, windows, and trim (e.g., baseboards, crown molding, chair rails).
Installing cabinetry, shelving, and staircases.
Performing tasks that conceal the rough edges of other materials, such as drywall.
Working with a high degree of precision to ensure a clean, finished look, often involving staining or painting.
As a drywall installs drywall by filling gaps, seams, and nail indentations with joint compound to create a smooth, seamless surface ready for paint. Key tasks include taping joints, applying joint compound with tools like a trowel, and installing corner beads.
