RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide guests with genuine service by addressing their needs in a professional, and timely manner; actively listen and respond positively to questions, concerns, and requests.
• Operate switchboard and assist with incoming inquires through various forms of communications (email/phone) promptly using appropriate etiquette.
• Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, verify guest identity, request form of payment, assig room/s, and issue room key in accordance with property policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure rooms are ready.
• Collaborate and communicate with internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay.
• Prepare written and electronic documents accurately; post charges to appropriate guest accounts.
• Handle all check-outs; settle guest account, retrieve room key, and request comments on guest's experience.
• Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork in an effort to achieve common goals.
• Run daily reports, identify special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
• Provide guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, hours of operation, local areas of interest
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hotel Front Office role
• Demonstrate excellent customer service
• Able to effectively deal with internal and external customers
• Proven knowledge of front office operations, procedures and best practices
• Strong computer skills including hotel front desk software such as Opera/OnQ
• Able to troubleshoot effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently
• Proven knowledge of upselling techniques and successful achievement of related goals
• Able to lift up to 25lbs; sit, stand, walk for an extended period of time
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule outside of normal business hours including overnight, evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed
Location : Hampton by Hilton, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
