Early Childhood Practitioner.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Precious Gems Preschool is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Early Childhood Practitioner to support the learning and development of young children in a stimulating and safe environment. This role involves providing high-quality early education while fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create a Safe and Engaging Learning Environment:
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional security of all children.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning, curiosity, and development.

- Deliver High-Quality Education:
- Plan and execute engaging lessons aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Use creative approaches to promote literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

- Collaborate with a Team:
- Work closely with other teachers to ensure cohesive learning experiences.
- Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates on their child’s progress and development.

- Foster Positive Development:
- Support children in developing independence, self-confidence, and social skills.
- Guide children's behavior in a patient and understanding manner.

- Utilize Technology (or Willingness to Learn):
- Incorporate digital tools and technology into lessons and communication when applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Level 3 NVET Qualification, Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent.
- Two or more years of proven experience in a play-based early childhood education centre.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development.
- Caymanian or permanent resident preferred.
