We are looking to hire a duct installer and fabricator to perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of duct systems, primarily for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the type, size, and layout of the duct system to be installed
Measure and mark sheet metal to be cut to fit specific duct installations
Utilize hand and power tools to shape and connect pieces of ductwork together
Install ductwork systems in buildings, including heating and air conditioning ducts, vents, and other equipment
Inspect and repair existing ductwork for leaks or damage, and replace sections as necessary
Ensure that duct systems are properly insulated to maximize efficiency
Maintain safe work practices and adhere to industry safety standards
Provide estimates for labor and materials needed for ductwork installations or repairs
Work in coordination with other HVAC professionals and construction teams
