We are looking to hire a skilled Mason Helper / Drywall installer Helper to assist the Trade Masons can expect to work in all weather and with various materials, lift and carry heavy objects, and read and assess technical drawings. Their responsibilities include texturing and polish stone blocks, installing dressed stone, mixing cement and mortar, and restoring old and damaged masonry works.
As a Drywall installer Helper, your duties will includes assisting the trade drywall installer with sealing joints, repairing cracks, and smoothing imperfections on walls and ceilings to create surfaces that are suitable for final treatment.
Carpenter Helper Responsibilities – to Assist Trade Carpenters:
• Maintaining tools and workspaces.
• Assist with cutting, shaping, and dressing materials.
• Lifting, carrying, and placing prepared blocks.
• Reading and following technical drawings.
• Assist with the jack hamming of old structure for a restoration
• Reading and interpreting architectural blueprints and engineering plans.
• Off load supplier truck and restock material
• Build and dissembled work scaffolding
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
Drywall Installer Helper Responsibilities – to Assist Trade Drywall Installer
• Mix plaster or spackle with trowels to create a flat surface.
• Sanding down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surface.
• Skimming the surface with a final layer of plaster in preparation for finishing work.
• Offload truck with drywall supplies
• Ensuring that all equipment and materials are used safely and effectively.
