The Grove Residences is welcoming applicants to apply for the position of Driver. As a Driver you will provide safe, punctual transportation for guests and company personnel in a hospitality setting, delivering VIP-level service with a polished appearance and impeccable manners.
Key Duties
• Transport guests and staff to meetings, events, and appointments on schedule.
• Greet, open doors, assist with luggage, and ensure a comfortable ride.
• Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections; coordinate servicing and minor repairs.
• Maintain the luxury vehicle in pristine condition, including regular cleaning and routine maintenance checks. Keep vehicles immaculate; monitor fluids/tires and report issues promptly.
• Complete trip logs and basic delivery/errand documentation.
• Transport guests to and from the airport in a timely and courteous manner.
• Drive guests to their selected excursions, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the journey.
• Share local knowledge and recommendations for dining, attractions, and entertainment to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain discretion/confidentiality and communicate clearly with coordinators/management.
• Follow all Cayman Islands road laws and company safety procedures.
Minimum Requirements
• Valid Cayman Islands Driver’s Licence (appropriate class) and clean record.
• 7 years recent professional passenger-transport experience in the Cayman Islands (e.g., hospitality, tours, limo, shuttle).
• Previous experience driving luxury vehicles or working in a hospitality/tourism role preferred.
• Proven customer-service skills; calm and professional under pressure.
• Impeccable presentation (clean uniform/grooming) and excellent manners.
• Able to perform basic vehicle care/arrange servicing.
• Able to lift and handle up to 70 lbs (32 kg); comfortable with trolleys/hand trucks.
• Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays required as needed.
• Basic phone literacy for coordination/messaging and accurate record-keeping.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate and manage time efficiently.
• Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus.
Hours & Benefits
• Hours: 45 hrs/week
