We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Designer/Project Coordinator to create functional office environments while ensuring efficient project execution. This hybrid role requires a blend of design expertise and project management skills, working closely with clients, sales, installation teams, and vendors to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Space Planning:
• Develop creative office and workspace designs that align with client needs and industry best practices.
• Conduct client consultations, site measurements, and space planning analysis.
• Create detailed specifications, installation drawings, and material/finish selections.
• Prepare and present design concepts, including floor plans and 3D renderings.
• Ensure compliance with ergonomic principles, building codes, and industry regulations.
Project Coordination & Execution:
• Oversee project workflows from initial concept to final installation.
• Collaborate with sales, design, installation, and customer service teams to manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate schedules, product deliveries, and on-site installations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Conduct site visits, oversee installations, and manage punch-list evaluations to ensure successful project completion.
Order & Documentation Management:
• Track and manage order processing, ensuring accuracy in specifications and timely fulfillment.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, work orders, approvals, and revisions.
• Ensure design changes are properly documented and communicated across teams.
• Assist with invoicing, billing, and project status updates.
Industry Knowledge & Best Practices:
• Stay up to date on workplace trends, ergonomic design principles, and emerging technologies.
• Understand contract furniture and flooring installation processes, specifications, and applications.
• Ensure all design and project management practices align with company standards and client expectations.
Qualifications:
• Experience in commercial interior design, project coordination, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and project management tools.
• Knowledge of furniture systems, installation processes, and workplace design trends.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
