DECKHAND.

The Sweet Spot Ltd is seeking for a Deckhand who has a passion for hospitality, outside Recreation, adventure and innovation with effective communication skills.

Duties:
Assist the Captain and crew with daily vessel operations.
Maintain and clean the deck, equipment, and work areas.
Assist with docking, mooring, anchoring, and line handling.
Handle ropes, lines, fenders, and other deck equipment.
Assist with loading, unloading, and securing equipment and supplies.
Perform routine maintenance, including washing, cleaning, painting, and basic repairs.
Assist with vessel safety checks and ensure safety equipment is properly maintained.
Follow all safety procedures and instructions from the Captain.
Assist passengers, customers, or guests when required.
Keep the vessel clean, organized, and presentable.
Report equipment issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly.
Assist with emergency procedures when required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Captain or management.

Qualifications
5-6 years of experience
Previous experience as a deckhand or in marine, construction, fishing, or outdoor work is an asset.
Strong swimming ability.
Comfortable working on boats and in marine environments.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies.
Comfortable working outdoors in sun, heat, wind, and changing weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of ropes, knots, and general boat handling is an asset.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours.
Must follow instructions and safety procedures.
