DECKHAND.

Action Marine Ltd T/A Cayman Ferries is looking for a qualified and dependable deckhand whose duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Key Responsibilities:
Greasing and cleaning machinery.
Moving heavy objects around.
Using various ropes, knots, and radio and navigational equipment.
Assisting during emergencies and effectively using safety equipment.
Performing general maintenance duties like painting, sweeping, and mopping.
Preparing cabins for crew or passengers.
Stand watches underway and in port.
Operate and maintain equipment and machinery.
Maintain the vessel's deck surfaces and interior spaces.
Secure cargo and rig towing gear.
Assist Deck Officers.
Regular wash-downs of the yacht, Stainless polishing, and cleaning of deck lockers and bilges.
Assisting with docking operations and anchoring.
Assisting guests as required during water sports.

Qualifications:
5-6 years of expeirence
Physical fitness and strength.
Knowledge of maritime safety.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Willingness to work in harsh climates.
Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods.
Adherence to prescribed safety codes.
Outstanding organizational, time management, and improvisational skills.
Passionate about traveling.
Ability to work during evenings and on weekends.
With a clean police record.
