Counsel - Real Estate and Corporate.

Appleby (Cayman) Ltd. are seeking to hire an experienced lawyer at Counsel level to join the real estate team, to work on its high-profile portfolio of real estate finance law matters.

Applicants must have in excess of seven years' post qualified experience advising on property transactions including sales and acquisitions, property investment, leasing and real estate financing. Applicants must also be able to assume responsibility for various corporate and commercial transactions including banking and finance.

The applicant should also possess an excellent academic and professional background and must demonstrate a consistent ability and willingness to market and engage in business development initiatives.

The applicant is also expected to demonstrate the ability not only to maintain existing client relationships but also to build on current relationships that attract future work and client referrals.

The successful candidate will also be expected to supervise and mentor junior members of staff including junior associates and articled clerks.
