Fortcay Family Office Advisory Limited is a Cayman Islands multi-family office, registered under the Securities Investment Business Act for managing, advising and arranging deals in securities, which provides services for ultra-high-net-worth families.
Fortcay is seeking an experienced Client Support Associate to take over as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of UHNW client families and their underlying entities, combining private client support with cross-border corporate administration and compliance. The postholder will report to the Managing Director, work closely with the firm's Relationship Managers on all non-investment aspects of their client relationships, and liaise with clients' external professional advisers. The successful candidate must have exceptional attention to detail, sound judgement, discretion and the confidence to take ownership of competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth client families, principals and their underlying entities, handling requests, confidential correspondence and non-investment client matters with discretion and taking ownership through to completion.
• Support Relationship Managers with client reporting, including the preparation and presentation of non-investment materials, and manage the collation, reconciliation and maintenance of client financial data within Addepar or equivalent platforms.
• Support client estate planning and structuring projects, including the establishment and ongoing administration of trusts, foundations, companies, holding structures and special purpose vehicles.
• Maintain corporate and statutory records for internal and client entities, including registers, resolutions, constitutional documents, share transfers, structure charts, ownership schedules and certificates of incumbency and good standing.
• Compile and maintain AML/KYC and customer due diligence documentation for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their underlying entities, including source of funds, source of wealth, beneficial ownership and control information.
• Respond to compliance, regulatory and due diligence requests and track statutory deadlines, filings and renewals across multiple jurisdictions, including supporting obligations under the Securities Investment Business Act or equivalent regimes, AML, FATCA, CRS, economic substance and beneficial ownership requirements.
• Provide direct support to Managing Directors, Chief Executive Officers and other senior executives, including managing complex diaries, correspondence, priorities and meetings across multiple international time zones.
• Coordinate board, investment, client and internal meetings, including agendas, papers, supporting documentation and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate international travel, including commercial and private aviation, multi-leg itineraries, visas, accommodation, transfers and ground arrangements, together with discreet lifestyle and concierge support where required.
• Process invoices, expenses, reconciliations and payment documentation, support budget tracking and cost control, and manage suppliers, contracts and service-provider renewals.
• Maintain accurate records across Microsoft 365, SharePoint and document, payment and workflow platforms, handling all client, financial, corporate and personal information with a high level of confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university
• Minimum three years' professional experience in a private client or executive support client facing role or at least one year supporting ultra-high-net-worth private clients and their underlying entities within a multi-family office or family office environment preferred.
• Experience of working within a business registered or licensed under the Securities Investment Business Act, or an equivalent regulated regime in another jurisdiction, and of supporting its compliance obligations.
Hours of Work
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and one-hour lunch break.
• As clients and professional advisers are located in other time zones, the postholder must be available to work outside core hours and respond to urgent client matters during evenings or weekends.
Salary Range and Benefits
Salary range - US$75,000 to US$95,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition:
• Enrolment in an approved Cayman Islands pension plan under the National Pensions Act.
• Health insurance under the Health Insurance Act.
• 20 working days of paid vacation per annum, in addition to all Cayman Islands public holidays,
