Job Summary:
The Gas Station Cashier at Oasis Rubis is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role involves handling payments, assisting customers, stocking shelves, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with purchases and inquiries.
Operate the cash register, process cash, check, and credit card payments, and provide accurate change.
Verify credit card payments by reviewing and recording driver's license details when required.
Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
Monitor and operate fuel pumps, ensuring proper service and payment collection.
Stock shelves, refrigerators, and displays, ensuring products are well-organized and replenished.
Maintain cleanliness of the checkout area, store, and fuel pump stations.
Address customer complaints and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Follow safety, security, and compliance procedures, including age verification for restricted products.
