Applicants must be reliable, hardworking, physically fit, able to follow instructions, and willing to work independently on assigned tasks and on weekends and public holidays when required.
Duties: Assist carpenters with measuring, marking, cutting, and preparing timber and other building materials; assembling and installing door frames, hollow doors, trims, cabinets, and fittings; preparing and installing insulation; sanding, smoothing, gluing, and caulking surfaces; and assisting with minor repairs and general construction work. Assist with erecting and dismantling scaffolding, shoring, and braces under appropriate supervision. Prepare, transport, and organize tools and materials, maintain a safe working environment, and clean job sites upon completion of work.
