Caregiver.

Health Care Community Nurse is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team. As a caregiver, you will provide support and assistance to individuals who require help with their daily living activities due to physical or mental health challenges, disabilities, or aging.

Job Description:

Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
Follow prescribed healthcare and care plans, including assisting with daily exercises and medication reminders or administration as directed.
Ensure the client’s home environment is safe, clean, organized, and suitable to meet their daily living needs.
Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to promote the client’s well-being and independence.
Assist clients with mobility, including transferring in and out of beds, chairs, and wheelchairs safely.
Accompany or transport clients to medical appointments, errands, and other scheduled activities as required.
Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health condition, behavior, or care needs to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional.
Assist with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and maintaining a hygienic environment.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care and daily activities.
Adhere to all health, safety, and confidentiality policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of one (2) year experience in caregiving, healthcare support, or a similar role.
Must possess a valid Caregiving Certificate.
Knowledge of basic patient care and safety procedures.
Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision.
Physically fit and capable of assisting clients with mobility and daily activities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if required.
