Job Title: Car Wash Agent
Department: Washstand
Reports To: Washstand Supervisor

Job Summary – The primary responsibilities of this position is to provide an important service to our customers. His/her basic job responsibility is to provide Total Customer Satisfaction by properly servicing a variety of vehicles on a timely basis following Avis's established Quality Assurance program.

Job Duties

1. Wash and detail vehicles inside and out for the ‘ready line’.
2. Ensure the ready line is fully stocked with a variety of clean and safe vehicles for customers.
3. Inspect all vehicles for body damage, if rentable, record the damage on the car care inspection form.
4. Report and mark all vehicle mechanical problems.
5. Tag and turn in lost and found items left in or outside the vehicles.
6. Provide valet service to customers; shuffle vehicles for customer use; assist in breakdown situations, as required.
7. Maintaining and promoting a positive working relationship with all Avis personnel.
8. Provide car operation instructions and respond to customers’ needs when necessary.
9. Performs other duties related in efforts to enhance our customer service and provide Total Customer Satisfaction.
10. Record meter readings for gas pumps and log gassed vehicles.
11. Check supplies and equipment.
12. Maintain the service area safe and clean.

Requirements

1. Ability to read, comprehend, write, English.
2. Ability to communicate effectively.
3. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
4. Positive interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work varied hours/days, weekends and holidays as company dictates.
6. Ability to display initiative, follow instructions and work with limited supervision.
7. Organized time management skills.
8. Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred
9. Car wash experience preferred
10. Valid Driver’s License for a minimum of 1 year
11. Applicants must be 25 years or older, as the role requires driving and is subject to insurance restrictions.
