Using QuickBooks, Excel and Word to maintain daily accounting records, supporting schedules and documentation in accordance with GAAP and international accounting standards. Will be responsible for documentation control and accounting for a retail operation. Will communicate with customers, vendors, employees and others on a daily basis. Must have a 4-year accounting degree or its equivalent to include 30 semester hours of successfully passed accounting courses. Must have a minimum of 5 years, experience and be familiar with retail store operations and document control. Must have a drivers’ license, with a clean police and driving record, and must be available to work holidays, evenings and weekends whenever necessary. Must be able to communicate well and be able to work with minimal supervision under tight deadlines. Only applicants meeting the above criteria will be contacted for an interview. A practical test of knowledge of accounting and spreadsheets will be administered to interviewed candidates and must be successfully passed to be considered for this position
