Assistant Construction Forman / Coordinator.

Assist with planning, coordinating and supervising work crews, assigning them to specific jobs, instructing them in the work to be performed and inspecting work, both in process and at completion, for quality and compliance with work orders / contracts. Makes cost estimates of jobs in terms of time and materials. Assist in managing procurement schedules and planning – monthly reports with list of packages and deadline dates for procurement, shipping etc. Have pre-contract programs in place and develop, communicate, and agree to baseline schedules for each project with the site construction teams. This will be updated monthly. Assist in identifying potential construction detailing issues and maintain an accurate and up to date RFI schedule. All RFI’s will be submitted to the consulting architect or Project Manager. Assist in ensuring that all variations are identified and maintain an accurate variation schedule with the construction team and assure that all variations are not executed until the consulting PM or owner has authorized the contract amendments. Assist in ensuring that the construction teams maintain a clean and safe job sites. Report monthly to the president on the status of budgets / cost codes for each element of the budget – committed costs to date, forecast cost to complete and final forecasted cost. These duties are to be performed on the terms and conditions hereof.
