ASSISTANT BARTENDER
Salary: $10:00 per Hour
Work Hours: 45 Hours per week

Gusto Cayman is a vibrant hospitality destination known for exceptional beverage experiences in a welcoming, energetic atmosphere. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Bartender to join our dynamic team.
We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding guest service.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB FUNCTIONS:
The primary role of this position is to ensure guests receive a memorable experience through attentive and professional service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
1. Welcome guests warmly and create a fun, inviting atmosphere.
2. Take beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
3. Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established standards.
4. Provide menu knowledge and recommendations to guests when appropriate.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas.
6. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests and concerns.
7. Process payments and handle cash responsibly.
8. Follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
9. Work closely with bartenders and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
10. Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
11. Perform other duties as required by management.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
To perform this role successfully, applicants should possess the following:
1. Previous beverage service experience preferred.
2. Knowledge of basic drinks and bar service is an advantage.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent customer service orientation.
5. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
6. Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
8. Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
