Salt Technology Group is seeking a highly organized and commercially aware Admin/Junior Consultant to support its software licensing, cloud subscription, procurement, and vendor management operations. Despite the title, this is not an entry-level or purely administrative role. The position requires practical experience, commercial awareness, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-driven, customer-focused and comfortable working across internal teams, vendors, distributors and clients. The successful candidate will help ensure that third-party services, software and hardware are accurately provisioned, renewed and maintained while supporting efficient procurement, compliance and responsive customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Software Licensing & Subscription Management
• Manage licensing, including Microsoft 365, Azure, subscription provisioning, renewals, changes and optimisation.
• Administer software licensing for third-party vendors including Adobe, Cisco, Fortinet and other technology partners.
• Maintain licensing records, renewal schedules, compliance documentation and audit support materials.
• Ensure provisioning accuracy and minimise licensing-related revenue leakage.
• Commercial Administration & Client Support
• Prepare customer quotations, licensing proposals, renewal documentation and related commercial records.
• Support the sales team with pricing, product selection and vendor engagement.
• Assist with account management activities and customer communications.
• Coordinate customer renewals and ensure timely invoicing.
• Support contract administration and customer or vendor agreement management.
• Financial & Operational Controls
• Coordinate procurement budgeting, purchasing commitments and renewal obligations with finance.
• Maintain inventory and asset purchasing records. Support financial controls surrounding procurement, licensing and cloud consumption operations.
• Procurement, Vendor & Partner Relationships
• Manage procurement activities for hardware, software, cloud services and professional services, including supplier quotations and comparative cost analysis.
• Create and manage purchase orders, order fulfilment and delivery tracking.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, distributors and strategic technology partners, including key manufacturers and partner programme contacts.
• Negotiate commercial terms and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct vendor performance reviews and maintain supplier scorecards.
• Escalate licensing, procurement, fulfilment and vendor-related issues when required.

• Customer satisfaction relating to licensing and procurement support.

Qualifications:
• Diploma in Information Technology, Business Administration, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum three years' experience in software licensing, procurement, managed services administration.
• Experience working within a Microsoft Partner or Cloud Solution Provider environment preferred with Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Microsoft licensing.
• Experience with procurement, vendor management, contract administration and commercial operations.
• Advanced organisational documentation skills, analytical and customer service capabilities.
• Relevant procurement, vendor management or software asset management certifications.
• Preferred Certifications
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
o Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
o Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)

Monthly salary $2800-$3000 KYD + commission paid quarterly (based on experience and sales)
Full-time role with working hours – Mon -Friday (8:00PM – 5PM); office environment
