AC Service Technician.

The AC Service Technician is responsible for performing general and preventive maintenance duties, troubleshooting equipment/systems, servicing and repairs (basic and extensive) of various types of air conditioning systems at residential, industrial and commercial sites around Grand Cayman.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Prior experience installing and servicing Daikin systems strongly preferred
Min 5 years' experience installing, servicing and repairing mini-split systems, central AC systems and VRV systems
Strong attention to detail with demonstrated knowledge and ability to read blueprints and construction sketches as well as interpret manufacturer instructions, specifications and technical diagrams
Relevant trade qualifications preferred
Ability to work overtime, weekends and public holidays as needed and be able to participate in rotating technician “on-call” schedule to provide 24/7 customer service
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
Ability to install copper tubing, line sets, comms cables, refrigeration accessories, thermostats, etc.
Ability to fabricate and install various types of air conditioning ductwork preferred
Maintain clean driving record and valid CI Driving License
Must be able to provide 2 verifiable references on employment history/experience relevant to the position
